100% Board participation
100% of faculty and staff contributed to the Annual Fund
LMS community surpassed its goal of $170,000
Ice cream, ice cream, we all scream for ice cream! This past June, Dylan & Pete's ice cream truck visited LMS. The kids were thrilled--an ice cream or popsicle was just what they needed on what turned out to be a hot spring day. Thank you to all the families who donated to the LMS Annual Fund in the three-week challenge period leading up to the truck visit.
Way to go LMS community!
The Annual Fund
is a way for members of the community to come together to enhance the school experience for every student. Here are a few examples:
The Annual Fund helps to keep technology at LMS current. From robotics programs to iPads for Spanish to 3D printer materials, students and teachers integrate technology into the daily life of the classroom.
Gifts to LMS' financial aid program provide need-based aid to families who might not otherwise be able to attend LMS.
Gifts from the fiscal year 2016 enabled the school to improve the back entrance to Children's House. Check out this exciting renovation in the picture carousel to the right--the before and after pictures are remarkable. In the years leading up to `16, the Annual Fund made it possible for LMS to build our new greenhouse, install a new and safer floor in the multi-purpose room, update classroom cabinets and sinks (and install dishwashers), and mount energy-efficient doors on the elementary and middle school buildings.
