LMS prides itself on its child-centered classrooms, diversity of students and teachers, and its vibrant, caring environment. Lexington Montessori School is a toddler through middle school, accredited by the American Montessori Society and the Association of Independent Schools of New England.


We at Lexington Montessori School are eager to meet teachers throughout the year who are interested in working at LMS. When we have an opening, we like to contact candidates who already know about our school and who may have already visited us.  Like many schools, LMS has openings for a variety of positions at various times in the school year.

  • Executive Director for Horizons at Lexington Montessori Summer School Program

    The Horizons program at Lexington Montessori School, Lexington, Massachusetts, seeks an Executive Director to lead a six-week summer school Montessori program in June of this year. In its fifth summer, the program will have 50 students, ages 3-11.  At full capacity – projected for 2022 -- Horizons LMS will serve 80+ students ages 3-14 (all of whom qualify for free or reduced school lunch in their communities). Montessori philosophy will be the foundation of the curriculum, with concentrations in math and language.
