Before and After School Program

Welcome to BASP

The Before and After School Program (BASP!) at LMS offers toddlers through middle school students a place to play, be with friends, and learn. Parents’ extended care needs are met while their children experience a familiar environment.

BASP is both the same and different from students’ classrooms. The BASP classroom maintains such qualities as freedom of choice, mutual respect, exploration, movement, consistency, and kindness. BASP differs from the preschool, kindergarten, elementary and middle school classrooms by including non-Montessori materials and activities such as dress-up costumes, board and card games, toys, and puzzles.

For the 2021-22 school year, all BASP enrollments will be online. We will be offering BASP in four sessions:

Session One: September 13, 2021 - October 28, 2021
Session Two: November 1, 2021 - December 17, 2021
Session Three: January 4, 2022 - March 11, 2022
Session Four: March 28, 2022 - June 9, 2022

Online registration for Session One will begin on June 9, 2021.

Registration for Session Two will open October 4, 2021.
Registration for Session Three will open December 6, 2021.
Registration for Session Four will open February 28, 2022.

This new arrangement will allow you to pay for each session separately as well as make changes from one session to the next.

Before School Program ( Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday):
7:45-8:45 AM

Siblings (of elementary/middle school students/ free of charge):
8:10-8:30 AM

After Care (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday):
2:45-5:00 PM or 2:45-5:30 PM

After Care (Thursday Only)
11:45-3:00 PM or 11:45-5:00 PM or 11:45-5:30 PM
