Curriculum and Programs

Spanish

Our long term goal is for all of our students to embrace language learning and to appreciate its role in multicultural understanding. As in all subjects, the program approach varies according to the age level. In the early years, we aim for children to be exposed to Spanish in an integrated way and as part of their daily activities. As students progress through the program, Spanish teachers use creative, engaging, collaborative lessons and expose children to the rich diversity of the Spanish language and the cultures of the countries where Spanish is spoken. The ultimate outcome is students' readiness for high school Spanish.
