5K & Kids' Fun Run
We at LMS would like to extend a big thank you to all who made the 7th Annual 5K & Kids' Fun Run everything we hoped it would be. The children and parents were excited, the runners ran hard, and the crowd-pleasing Red Trouser Show amused everyone! See you next year!
What a fun morning! The Touch a Truck event on April 29th attracted hundreds of people from Lexington and surrounding towns. After all, what child wouldn't get excited about the chance to get behind the wheel ofafiretruck, police car, front-end loader, dumptruck, and many other specialized vehicles? The adults enjoyed it too!
Another successful Ice Cream Social! Attendees enjoyed ice cream scooped by parent volunteers and served by students, and then everyone moved on to play fun games in the UE classrooms. As always, the games the students created were full of imagination. Thank you to all who helped support the UE Big Trip to Maine.
Nettie Lane was this year’s Artist-in-Residence. This was Nettie’s first visit to LMS and we were delighted to have her. Elementary students spent two weeks perfecting their circus skills, culminating in a school-wide performance on March 9th.
Lexington Montessori School is an independent private day school for toddlers through grade 8. Our community works to create an environment that inspires children to develop inner discipline, self-assurance, and a love of learning.
