We've had a fantastic first month of Lower Elementary PE! Students across all three classrooms have been learning the importance of cooperation and communication by participating in a six week "Team Building" unit. These lessons are crucial in the beginning of the year. Young children learn that even though we are all individuals, in PE we often do many things together. We need to be able to work effectively and collaboratively with each other. Be sure to ask your child(ren) about "Titanic", "Popcorn", and the "Hula Hoop House Challenge."
Upcoming units will included obstacle courses/gymnastics and circus skills.
